A balcony covered entry porch highlights the center of this gabled
home. Inside the front door, a wide staircase with open balustrades
divides the formal dining room on the right from the great room to the
left. The large great room, with a fireplace on its longest wall, is
open to the breakfast area and kitchen, creating a flowing space that
extends the width of the central wing. French doors open to the deck
and rear lawn. The attached mudroom wing with a laundry area and powder
room and offers a convenient rear entrance into the kitchen.
The main staircase leads up to the second-floor hall which overlooks
the entrance below. At one end are two bedrooms and a shared bathroom.
The other end of the hall leads to the master bedroom with two large
closets and a master bath featuring an oversized glass shower, and dual
vanities.
The Barnett’s Plan has been carefully drawn and includes authentic
details. The layout combines a smooth flow and an efficient use of space.
All of the rooms have large windows and will accommodate optimal furniture
arrangements.
